Music Director

Mr Alvin Seville began his musical journey at the age of thirteen as a percussionist in Yuhua Secondary School Band. Together with the rigorous training he received and his won interest in the art, he became an outstanding bandsman. Mr Alvin joined the Singapore Wind Symphony at the age of fifteen. His association with the orchestra allowed him the opportunity to perform at prestigious events such as the ASEAN Pacific Band Directors Association conference in the famous Sydney Opera House. As a student of Catholic Junior College, he also led the formation of the Catholic Junior College Symphonic Band in the year 1999. After graduation, he went on to serve as a regular in the Singaproe Armed Forces Central Band. In 2002, Mr Alvin obtained his Associate of the Royal Schools of Music Diploma in Flute Performance and he served as the Concertmaster of the SAF Central Band until his departure from the Armed Forces.

Currently, Mr Alvin is the conductor of Catholic Junior College Symphonic Band, Anderson Junior College Symphonic Band, Anglo-Chinese Junior College Concert Band and Band of the Clementi Town Secondary School -  Clementi Town Winds.
